Top 10 event of 2010

Traditionally, in the early days of the new year, we determine the most important events that took place in the Gymnasia in 2010.

 

  1. On November 26, 2010 the Gymnasia celebrated its 130th anniversary.
  2. In May, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Dmytro Tabachnyk signed a decree stating that the Gymnasia was to become an experimental institution of the national level.
  3. The Gymnasia pupils   gained 18 victories at IV stage of All-Ukrainian subject competitions, that has become a record for all the years of the institution’s existence.
  4. Natalia V. Rebenko, an English teacher, received a high rank of Merited Teacher of Ukraine.
  5. A children's publication UNIKAL’NY GYMNASYST was created.
  6. In June, a group of the Gymnasia teachers and  students visited the sister city of Santa Rosa, California, USA.
  7. A group of the Gymnasia students  worked on probation for the  tenth time in Arlon, Belgium.  An agreement to extend the project was concluded.
  8. Shawn Bashard, a Peace Corps volunteer started to work in the Gymnasia.
  9. The Gymnasia Assembly hall was repaired.
  10. The Ambassadors of Belgium and Argentina visited the Gymnasia.
