A SPANIARD STAYED WITH US.*

Carmen Ruiz, a Spaniard, stayed almost three days in Cherkasy. She participated in examining scores of people willing to pass the exam to receive the international certificate of Spanish in our DELE center.  Let us mention that our Gymnasia is the only school in Ukraine that has such a centre. There are several other centres in major cities of Ukraine, but they are affiliated to universities.  Before Carmen’s arrival, we had got the centre’s stylish signboard.

Carmen conducted talks with the Gymnasia principal.  They discussed issues of strengthening the resource base of the center, attracting people willing to take the exam from Kirovograd and Poltava Regions.  Shokaryeva R.O. and Bereslavska V.I., teachers-employees of the center, also took part in the talks. On May 21 teachers showed the Spaniard round the town.
