OUR DEBUT IN KHARKIV WAS EFFECTIVE.*

From 27 to 30 April, a folk group "Kalynonka" of the First City Gymnasia (leader - Hafinova L.V.) first took part in the National Festival of Ukrainian Studies "Soniachni peliustky" (Solar petals), which was held in Kharkiv. 28 teams of secondary school pupils of Forms 7-11 from 14 regions of Ukraine participated in the festival. Total number of the festival participants was 248 people. Our team  participated in the festival for the first time.

Cherevyshnya Mariya was awarded a diploma of II grade, Rublevskiy Bohdan and Kovalenko Paula (Form 9-B pupils) were awarded diplomas of III grade for winning at a Ukrainian Studies competition test.

Hafinov Vladyslav (Form 8-B pupil) was awarded a diploma of II grade for winning at expressive reading, Cherevyshnya Mariya and Rublevskyi Bohdan received diplomas of III grade.
