WE CONTINUE TO HELP THE FRONT.*

The traditions to help those who  defend our country on the military fronts are alive today. In the gymnasia archives we have found a telegram, which was signed in 1945 by J. Stalin, and it goes there about the gratitude to pupils and teachers of Cherkasy secondary school No. 1 (now known as our gymnasia) for 13 500 rubles raised  for the construction of aircraft.

Many years later, we again take up a subscription, this time for the ATO soldiers, among which there are a lot of parents of our pupils. Now we are collecting  food and taking up a subscription that volunteers will hand in to our heroes. The subscription is being taken up by  Vynogradova S. O., a vice principal.<0Now, more than a third of our teachers have  donated money to be handed in our soldiers. The class teachers are actively accumulating the funds.
