OUR GYMNASIA PUPIL WON BRONZE FOR VIDEOPOETRY TO SYMONENKO’S ANNIVERSARY.*

The gymnasia pupil VOLOSCHENKO Christian, together with his instructor  Anatoliy Illyashenko, won the third place in the competition of videopoetry, which took place within the framework of the festival “The Black Horseshoe” devoted to Vasyl Symonenko’s 80th birth anniversary.

The contest was summed up in the  "Kobzar" Museum in the city of Cherkasy  on  February 8.

All in all, the jury was presented 19 short videos based on the poetry or prose, the author of which is our distinguished countryman.

Participants from different parts of Ukraine: Dnipropetrovsk, Pereyaslav - Khmelnytsky, Sumy, Kirovohrad and, of course, Cherkasy embodied their own vision of the writer’s creative genius of the era of the sixties.In the course of time the creative work of Vasyl Symonenko is growing more and more in importance and relevance.

All the participants presented their works under pseudonyms. Our work (it can be viewed HERE) participated in the competition under the pseudonym of ARTIST and made everybody admire the craftsmanship of the videopoetry production.
