Goal: give students an opportunity to practice conversational English, discuss current world issues with
their peers, learn how to become leaders in their own community

Particpant's fee: 15 UAH (hryvnas)
Transportation cost and food will not be provided. There will be a 30 minute lunch break, students should bring their own lunch
Subjects discussed: HIV/AIDS, human trafficking, peace-building, leadership, project design and management and creativity.
Practice CACTUS is non-political, non-religious, non-governmental event. It is part of the CACTUS (Community ACTion Ukrainian Style) program –10-day summer leadership forum - aimed at promoting civil society andteaching youth how to become leaders in their own community. The program is organized by active Ukrainians and Peace Corps volunteers.Funding of the program is fully dependent on grants and community contributions.
