In the 2022-2023 school year, it will be possible to study Chinese and Polish languages online. Other foreign languages may also be offered based on teacher availability. This is provided free of charge, and there is no group division.
Students from other city schools can study THIRD foreign languages on a commercial basis. For PMG gymnasium students, the study of third foreign languages is FREE OF CHARGE.
Foreign language teaching is carried out by specialists with relevant education and experience. Since 2013, native English speakers have been involved in teaching English (Peace Corps USA, other foundations).
In recent years, significant attention has been paid to exams at foreign representations in Ukraine. The number of international certificates obtained is constantly growing.
The Gymnasium has OFFICIAL exam centers for English, Spanish, and German at levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2. The fees for international language certificates are the same as in other centers in Ukraine. In the event of quarantine, foreign languages are taught remotely on the G-Suite Classroom platform.
Foreign language instruction is overseen by Vice Principal Yulia Valentinovna Pais.
Note:
In the 2022-2023 academic year, students from other schools entering grades 6-11 must take entrance exams in English (advanced study level) covering four types of language activities. The exams are held annually from June to August.
