Self-Discipline Tips

  1. When starting any task, think: what result should I achieve?
  2. Start the task confidently and don't stop until you complete it. If at the end of the week or day you have one or two tasks left uncompleted, move them to the plan for the next week (or day).
  3. Make it a rule to always analyze why you didn’t complete a particular task. Try to eliminate the reasons for non-completion on your own. At first, this will seem difficult, but over time you'll understand that the main thing is to assess your strengths correctly and not waste time.
  4. Never practice postponing tasks to the next day. Start the planned task immediately without delay.
  5. Do not make any exceptions for yourself, learn to respond to your whims briefly but firmly with "no".
  6. Learn to command yourself, be unyielding with yourself, but set realistic goals; under no circumstances should you "overextend" yourself, because the inner command "I must" or "This needs to be done" won’t work.
  7. Try to analyze how you mainly spend your free time.
  8. Your body is capable of handling long periods of exertion, but to avoid fatigue, overcome it by changing activities throughout the day.
  9. When taking on any task, learn to listen carefully to adults' instructions. Use notes to ensure nothing escapes your attention and to save time.
