On September 27, 1996, UNESCO Secretary-General Frederico Mayor signed a certificate of membership of our gymnasium in the project of Associated Schools of this influential international organization. UNESCO Associated Schools in Ukraine are general education institutions that participate in the UNESCO Associated Schools network, whose activities are aimed at strengthening the humanistic, ethical, cultural and international aspects of education. The main idea of the Club is to develop tolerant communication, communication skills and intercultural competence of students. One of the main activities of the UNESCO Club is to unleash the creative potential of each student and promote a healthy lifestyle. At the Club's meetings, UNESCO students learn about business cultures of the world, peculiarities of intercultural communication, diplomatic communication and other aspects of culture, science and education. Gymnasium students actively develop their international communication skills. The club was created in the year of the 25th anniversary of the gymnasium's membership in the UNESCO MASCH project (2021).
Goals and objectives of the club:
- uniting young people for joint activities in the field of science, culture and education to promote the humanistic principles and ideals of UNESCO, ideas of peace and mutual understanding between people;
- to develop tolerance, communication skills and intercultural competence in gymnasium students;
- dissemination and support of UNESCO's ideas, intensification of activities to promote and implement UNESCO programs.

- Learning native and foreign languages
- Studying the culture of Ukraine and other countries
- Ecology
- Formation of an active life position
- Formation of a healthy lifestyle
- Development of leadership skills
- Fundamentals of etiquette
